Leighton town have a friendly tonight vs Winslow united. Turned up to find the club house closed and when the club's committee turned up they aren't opening the bar or doing food! Having come

Straight from work we promptly left again.

Biggleswade v Bedford highlights. Bedford have improved loads over the last few months. They really gave the table toppers a good game.

The Biggleswade FC v Baldock Town game in a few weeks could be a real title decider!

Will you be there mate??  We've got Langford Saturday, which should be another cracker.  They are on a great run currently.

I made the long trip down to Southall last night. I must say from the moment I walked through the gates I was made very welcome and stood behind the goal with some 'ultras'.

Southall could have been out of sight in the first half if not for the very impressive Baldock centre backs and keeper who kept them in it.

Bennett and number 10 for Southall look a step above if not more but i felt Baldock bullied them a bit. Experience down the spine gets you out of this division and Baldock have it. Even if they lack pace.

Southall best side I've seen this season in Division 1. Baldock the most physical.

You seem to be watching a fair bit of us just lately FCChairman.  Say hello next time you are at one of our games (I am usually wearing my club coat).

I thought we kept the lad Bennett relatively quite all night.  He was more lively when we played them at home a few weeks ago.  I also agree that their 10 was very good.  Have you seen Southall a few times this season then??  I couldn't say they were best in Division 1 based on Wednesday night's evidence, but I understand from their committee that they had a few out for both our meetings, so can only go on our games.

Harefield were very good last Saturday and can see them being in the mix next season.  Their forward McLeish is a handful.  Biggleswade and Harpenden both impressed me when we played them, but haven't seen any of their other games.  Big game at Langford for us tomorrow though - they unbeaten in 11 games, so will be tough.
