Savagebee Posted March 18, 2017 Share Posted March 18, 2017 TWO RUMOURS going around the ground today is that Hillingdon Borough FC are going to drop out of Division One next season and take a year off and Arlesey Town Reserves are calling it a day at the end of this season. tringarmy Posted March 22, 2017 Share Posted March 22, 2017 I see Aylesbury United has announced a ground share at Chesham for next season which will mean their reserves will either have to drop out or get a ground share of their own. Amersham maybe? Would that mean Thames Rangers will replace the Ducks at Thame United. I assume their current ground hasn't got the grading? Basher Posted April 3, 2017 Share Posted April 3, 2017 Had it confirmed on Sat when visiting Chesham that they will no longer run a Res side, but they also stated that the rumour mill was indicating Bedford and Southall were looking to other leagues, whilst Kennsington Borough want to play at Bedfont which is really UCL and Brimsdown may well be on the move again... patemondo Posted April 3, 2017 Share Posted April 3, 2017 Bedford and Southall may be looking at crossing leagues but it isn't as simple as that. They have to write to the FA asking permission and reasons for it before a deadline date (I recall it was the 31st Dec but stand corrected if wrong). The league can object or give them their blessing whilst the league they wish to move too have a say. Ultimately it is de by the FA. It took us a couple of attempts to move across leagues from the UCL. Of course it might be that it is the FA who are initiating it in which case they be moved even if they are not keen to do so!
