FF News Posted March 30, 2017 Share Posted March 30, 2017 Workington have announced Dan Wordsworth can now resume his playing career in England after Football Federation Australia forwarded his International Clearance to the FA. With a hectic fixture schedule over the next few weeks, it is a timely addition to the squad for joint managers Lee Andrews and David Hewson. He has attended three training sessions since his return to this country last week and could feature in the squad for Saturday’s important encounter against Ilkeston. If that proves to be the case, his sabbatical will have gone full circle. His final appearance for Reds, at the end of his first spell at Borough Park, was, ironically, against Ilkeston almost two years ago.
