Bagshot v Balham looks set to be a cracker in the race for a promotion place, each side needing the points.

Bagshot ground share at Fleet Spurs FC.

Redhill are nearly there so the chase for the last promotion place (if 3 go up) is hotting up, between Balham, Bagshot, Eversley, Worcester Park and AC London.

All 5 teams are in with a shout and with both the Prem and Div 1 champs being confirmed last week this run could go the the last games.

Next seasons promotion chase is going to make it interesting with perhaps only one team going up (correct me if I am wrong please), given the quality of the chasing pack of this season its going to be blooming tough to get out of Div one next season, could we see teams opting to move sideways?

FT SHEERWATER 1 LOBSTERS 0

Tried hard but home team wanted it more and we wasted to many shots high or wide, we can do better.

Burgers good.

we now need 9points subject to results elsewhere today.

Had Michael Begley (Conor Mcgregor lookalike) reffing at Farnham today. Had a great game. His application of advantage, player management and all round game make him the best ref in this league bar none. Spoke to him afterwards and it looks like he will be Ryman league next season. A sad loss to the CCL but a thoroughly deserved promotion.

Thanks to Balham winning its not so bad as it goes, Redhill need 6 points now, not 9 that would put us on equal points in theory if Balham and Bagshot don't drop any more points and hopefully the GD continues.....

Anyone know the story behind the Epsom v AC game not going ahead, heard someone at our game today say it was players not turning up for Epsom.

I received a tweet from someone connected with Epsom this morning which said something along the lines of .... 'Having a wedding in the footy season is a bl00dy silly idea !!'

Could be connected, Burgs:unsure:

......so who thought it a good idea not to inform the league and request a date change a month or so before Saturday.

Farnham Town 0 Horley Town 1

Agree about the referee who had a very good game, in a game that could have gone either way makes a change for us to get a last minute winner through Kylie Hough to take the three points.

Lots changing at Farnham ground gets more hemmed in every time we go!

Gutted to have conceded so late! Sort of felt it coming, although a draw would have been fair. One thing that we have benefited from at Farnham is the work being done on the Memorial Hall helping the pitch. We now only get what rain falls on it, rather than the deluge from that side. One waterlogging postponement this season!

Agree game could have gone either way. Also agree the pitch was much better this season and ground much better with changing rooms etc next to the pitch.
