Info below is from Jeff Trice's excellent Margate FC history site. Great stuff for any non-league footie fan. Charles "the man" Webster introduced me briefly to a chap who does the 'Fleet history. Can he please contact me re: Margate v 'Fleet head 2 heads?

 

What's interesting is the number of clubs no longer with us. Romford ( the new one doesn't really count), Guildford City, various "Dovers", and so on.....please note the largish Margate win!!!
