Will need to beat Thurrock either home orr away and then the real cup final away to Maldon. Can't see them slipping up today although I fancy Them to lose to Soham. cup of tea Posted April 17, 2017 Share Posted April 17, 2017 Well, that didn't go to plan. I thought at one point in the first half we were going to go on and win 3 or 4 - 0. Didn't happen and 0 - 0 is a dangerous scoreline. Well taken goal for Aveley but other than that, how many shots did Sam had to save? Massive effort from Aveley, congratulations to them on the win at their last home game before their move. Effort from the players was good but just didn't happen today. Don't think my frustration was helped by that rather obnoxious gentleman that decided to join us for the second half.
