Perhaps I should have made the point more clear.

 

At this level to have that amount of officials unavailable is really acceptable, isnt it?

The counties have had all week to find replacements, local football, other counties can be contacted to bring replacements.

Lucky the SSML doesn't have two reserve leagues still going today otherwise it would be even worse

Exactly. And in the main, all Division Two fixtures had three officials under Mick Ewen , even though there were more Reserve / Development Division games requiring referees.

 

Players play for managers they like, why should it be any different for referees?

Beds County League is step 7 and they don't have assistants,so Div 2 has no divine right to always have them. Dare say a few more step 7 leagues are in the same boat.

Divine right? No mention of that in my previous message.

If they are available. There are plenty of counties to ask.
