Jordan Hall has been appointed as the new first team manager of Toolstation NCEL Premier Division side Maltby Main.

Hall, who had recently been in charge of Central Midlands League side FC Bolsover, replaces Spencer Fearn who departed, along with his management team, to Evo-Stik League side Frickley Athletic earlier this month.

He will be joined in the dugout by two people who worked alongside him at his previous club, John Styring as his assistant and Mark Higginbottom who will be coach.

And, former Main boss Steve Adams has returned to the club as part of the management staff.

A spokesperson for the Muglet Lane outfit said: "The club would like to thank all applications and put on record that the quality and diverse skill sets of the interviewees was exceptional and made for a very tough decision.

"The club have also been looking to strengthen its backroom further and are thrilled to announce that Steve Adams has agreed to take the position of director of football.

"Steve knows the DNA at Maltby as well as anyone and will be involved in areas such as acting as an intermediary between Jordan and the committee whilst handling aspects away from day-to-day coaching, allowing Jordan to focus on team performance.

"The reserves will again be managed by Andy King and his back room and the collaboration of everyone will be key for our success going forward.

"The committee are elated with the assembling of the above team and wish Jordan, Steve, Andy and all of the respective backroom staff well and are looking forward to the 2017/18 season to carve out the next chapter in the clubs history."
