4-1 win at home to Whyteleafe

Good win with some encouraging performances, though difficult to judge without knowing the quality of the opposition. They seemed competent enough without troubling us too much.

Disappointing that so many of the signed players were unavailable - not many matches left to get a settled side together before the official start. Still no match time for Kirby, Purse was captain.

Particularly impressed by Kyriacou, Krasniqi, Blake, Thomas & Ricky's brother, Ralston. Parcell only played second half but was as strong as ever, whilst Nwaduokei gave an impressive cameo.

Goalscorers were Blake, Parcell, Gabriel & Hart. Blake M.o.M for me.

The opposition were better than Amersham. I did not see the Chelmsford game. Without starting the season on the wrong foot many of the ref's decisions, including a penalty awarded to Whyteleafe were a little strange.

A good workmanlike performance. They did the job.

Didn't take long to comment on the referee's performance.
