Leek Town will play host as England U18s continue their build-up to October's FIFA U17 World Cup in India with a friendly against South Africa.

The match at Harrison Park will take place on Monday 4 September, kick-off 7pm.

Led by Steve Cooper, the Young Lions will travel to Shrewsbury for a warm-up match against Brazil three days prior before the meeting in Staffordshire.
Harrison Park is no stranger to England international fixtures, this will be fourth in the last two seasons. In February 2017, Dan Micciche’s crop of U16s played Spain in front of an impressive 2,132-strong crowd.

Jon Eeles, Leek Town Chairman commented “The Club are once again very honoured to assist the FA in hosting this game, it speaks volumes about our volunteer base and fans that the FA have such confidence to choose at Harrison Park. This is a great opportunity for the local community to visit the Club and watch a young England side play."
