Radcliffe FC have announced the signing of former Rochdale, Carlisle and FC United forward James Hooper.

New manager Jon Macken's first signing for the Club, turned professional in 2015 after graduating from the Rochdale Academy and made his Football League debut in November 2015. After successful loan spells at FC United and Stockport County James left Rochdale in early 2017 and signed for Carlisle.

After leaving Carlisle in the summer he re-joined FC United for the 17/18 season where he has made 10 appearances this season before joining The Boro.

Chairman Paul Hilton said "James is a great addition to the squad, a really exciting player who we believe will be back in the Football League very soon. The Club is already on a high after the appointment of Jon Macken and Saturday's thumping win, this signing continues that positive trend and is hopefully a sign of things to come."
