The home of Ebbsfleet United will now be known as Kuflink Stadium after bosses shook hands on a landmark five-year sponsorship deal.

The Gravesend-based peer-to-peer lender says the agreement is part of its ongoing commitment to support the local community with a focus on sport, health and education.

It comes at a time of significant development within the stadium on Stonebridge Road, with a £5m main stand being completed over the summer, and planning permission secured to revamp the Plough End, which once complete will accommodate 1,750 supporters on standing terraces, along with an integrated hotel.

Ebbsfleet vice-chairman Peter Varney said: "We are very excited to be entering into a five-year commitment with Kuflink.

"I would like to thank all of the team at Kuflink for the confidence they have shown in the club by entering into a long-term agreement and all of us look forward to working with them on a range of community and commercial initiatives."
