FF News Posted October 23, 2017 Share Posted October 23, 2017 Brightlingsea Regent have appointed Tom Rothery as their new manager, as a successor to James Webster. The R's had been on the look-out for a new manager, following Webster's departure to become the new boss at Aveley after guiding the North Road club to five promotions in seven seasons. And Rothery has been installed as the R's new supremo ahead of tomorrow's Bostik Premier match at Harrow Borough It is a case of a happy return to familiar surroundings for Rothery, who was the former head coach under Webster before he joined Needham Market as their coach and later head coach. Club Chairman Terry Doherty said: "Tom (Rothery) has a very close affinity with the Regent, having been a big part of our rapid rise through the leagues over the last few years."
