Boston United manager Adam Murray felt his side had 'beaten themselves' after losing 2-1 at Curzon Ashton on Saturday.

The Pilgrims' wretched away form stretched to seven defeats from eight following their fifth 2-1 away reversal of the campaign.

Kabongo Tshimanga's second half equaliser had drawn the Pilgrims level but United conceded again to ensure more misery on the road for Murray's men.

"It's another game where we made two mistakes, our keeper did not make a save and we lost 2-1," reflected Murray.

"We started off really well, carrying on where we left off on Tuesday night, but an error of judgement cost us a goal.

"We tweaked a few things after half-time, got back in the game and it looked like only one team was going to win the match.

"It's frustrating because we have some very good players who are only putting in decent performances for half of games."
