Well well, after all our recent protestation, you do sometimes get what you wish for!! If only for one month I hope Elliot Benyon helps us to kick start a much needed change in our fortunes.

Although I still feel that other improvements are needed to help him to succeed I will endeavour to be patient, which is certainly not one of my  virtues, with the hope that this is just the beginning of our revival. Good luck Elliot a couple of goals this Saturday would be very welcome. No pressure!!!!!

Theo, I agree but at least it shows AL has had to admit to the deficiencies up front  needing some sort of remedy.  One cannot guess the outcome but if Benyon  does help to lift us up the table, as did Macleish ( not sure of spelling), then it will give  AL a little more time to find a permanent replacement.

AS you say only a couple of games seems of little use but again surely this was taken into account when the loan deal was agreed.  One must assume that an option to recall him by his parent club or an extension request by us has been also been agreed.

The reason for my patience is that, although recognising it is only a stop gap, to me , it is at least a step in the right direction.

I now wait to see if he turns his attention to improving our defensive capabilities which have been the centre of a lot of comments on the forum.

But as I said I'm not known for long waits.

if it gets him match sharp, and back into scoring form, that can only be a good move.

Needs games and needs to start scoring again.

If he can't get back to what he was a year ago then the asterisk beckons.

So he appears to have the potential based on his pre-injury form

AL has moved to sort an issue identified by many on the forum.

Can only be a good thing - shame about the lack of fixtures - every possibility it could be extended

A dual-registration could be an opportunity?
