A fantastic game at Risborough v Southall, bad result for rangers as they didn't deserve to lose. A draw would have been a fair result. Risborough scored early with a superb goal from distance, the equaliser came just before half time from a tight angle. Winning goal towards full time was a shocking lino mistake as the scorer was clearly offside, but he had not made a decision all game just waited for the refs instructions.

I wasn't aware of any controversy surrounding the first Southall goal, and was closer to it than most. In fact it was a brilliant individual effort. I don't think I've seen a better goal all season.

Southall were poor for the first half hour, and could have gone further behind, but were clearly the better side thereafter.

Southall fans were not well placed to see whether there might have been a hint of offside for the second goal (although better placed than most Risborough fans), but we noticed nothing amiss, and neither did the officials. As for Risborough deserving a draw, Southall fans wouldn't have been too disappointed with an away point after starting so badly, but during the closing minutes while Risborough appeared to have settled for the point, Southall brought on an extra striker, and reaped the reward for their positive approach.

Clearly you are not someone who takes much notice of what was going on.

Risborough centreback fouled before the cross for the 1st goal.

The number 14 shamefully diving for the freekick that the goal was scored from. He should feel utterly embarrassed. Then the goal wasn’t slightly offside, it was a good few yards.

Risborough also finished the game with 3 strikers trying to force the win.

The only spell where Southall were in control was a 10 minutes period before halftime.

Risborough better possesion, more chances by a distance.

Southall were decent but its hard to believe they are unbeaten. All the major decisions went their way, that’s what happens when you’re top!
