Bury Town boss Ben Chenery is hoping a better run of home form will propel the Blues up the Bostik North table this Christmas.

The Ram Meadow outfit have home advantage in four of their next five league games, starting tomorrow night, as Potters Bar travel to Suffolk.

Currently sitting mid-table, Chenery's side have not always achieved the results at home they will feel perhaps they should have done. On their travels it has been a different picture.

Indeed this season, in 10 home league clashes, Bury have won just two – 19 of their 30 league points have come on the road.

"At home, teams show us a huge amount of respect – and for that we should see that as a massive mark of respect," Chenery said.

"Teams sit behind the ball. We need to be patient and find the right key.

"But we do well at Bury Town.

"My team doesn't have the marquee players some other clubs possess. But we get good crowds and, rightly, expectations are high. If we don't perform we all get frustrated."
