FF News Posted December 12, 2017 Share Posted December 12, 2017 Dino Maamria has hit out at what he calls over cautious thinking as Nuneaton were denied the chance to take on Harrogate Town last weekend. The Vanarama National League North match was postponed at 10am on Saturday morning after officials deemed the pitch unplayable at that stage. But, by 12:30pm the conditions had improved, leading Maamria to call his play ers in for a full training session at the LDJ Solicitors Stadium. For Maamria the situation was frustrating and somewhat avoidable. He said: "If that was a Football League match there is no way that would have been cancelled. "They give the game a chance to go ahead whereas the decision last weekend seemed to be to cancel it first."
