Enfield v Merstham

So twitter is saying AL has worked hard, 2 new signings available to play today! Let’s hope to God they are young, quick defenders! Then let’s change the formation, put 2 up front, (need a good “finisher”) and you never know....I’m in an optimistic mood! Well done Andy, although we don’t have details yet, he’s obviously been trying this week to sort it out!?

Defenders!! Does say they are available today! Hope I’m not wishful thinking here, but does that mean that Dan and Jack will get the opportunity to play their rightful positions? And I’m hoping Aaron is fit and well today.

Not at the game - but just tuned in to the live Back of the Net Commentary ... !

Again, fair play to Andy for reacting to Mon with 2 new signings. .. are they permanent or loan? Great to see Samir back.

My only question over selection is Kirby on the bench ..??? He came in and put in several good performances - dont get why he is benched again following his neck injury.?

Up the Town!

Same old, same old ! Not the the type of performance that you need with the AGM coming up on Thursday. Negative, negative, negative ! Oh and boring too ! Just noticed that Merstham are 19th on 26 points and they played us off the park. But for an incredibly lenient referee who gave us the softest penalty that you will ever see and most of the 50/50's, they would have hammered us !

I don't know how many of you read Steph1 submission this morning on the previous Kingston  game but I recommend it to you all. It was the perfect trailer of this afternoons game. This being my last week of freedom I took advantage of the opportunity to go and see.

I an now going to upset the get behind the manager crowd, but with the exception of the first five minutes, we were played of the park bu Mersham's young, fit and well organised team. If any one suggests otherwise should go to  "Spec Savers". They out passed us and had numerous attempts on goal. If it was not for Joe Wright we would have been well behind by half time. Whereas their goal keeper had very little to do.

I have to say I was sorry for Hope, who for most of the second half had balls belted at him, Samir who be must be wondering what he has let himself in for, but most of Mickey Parcell whose promising game under the AL regime, of hoof the ball miles, is being retarded.

I have seen many more managers at Enfield depart for less than what we have seen to day.

But with the next few months being occupying me on more personnel things I must sign off with the wish that we all get the team we hope for playing in a manner we would prefer. I for one do not think this is realistic under this manager.

Agree with every comment.

Very poor negative Second half and i agree liam was getting balls lumped up in the air and thats not his game.

What worries me is there manager changed there game play at half time our manager didnt react to that all he seemed to be doing was jumping around in the technical area waving his arms in the air.

I believe he has completly under estimated this league but given time i think he will get it right.
