4wembleyfinals Posted March 23, 2018 Share Posted March 23, 2018 I see that Kirby and Noto have moved on for what appears to be for the rest of the season. I can understand the reasons for Kirbs since,from what I saw before Xmas, he was way off being fit. But I am a bit puzzled by Noto's move. If he is deemed good enough to compete for a place in St Albans "play off" team, a league above us, why is he considered surplus to our requirements? From the little I have actually seen of his performances he always showed plenty of ability and is not lacking in enthusiasm compared to some others who are still being retained. I suppose the reasoning, to paraphrase a well used observation. " Ability is in the eyes of the beholder". Unless we have found someone better to replace him I am still puzzled.
