It is with very great sorrow, that I announce the death of Jack Collins on 1st March 2018 aged 93.

Former Chairman of Dorking F.C. and always a very great friend to me and all my family.

Jack experienced very bad health for several years before his passing, but I will always remember with love some of the hilarious conversations we had at the bar at Meadowbank in the years before his passing.

I'm sure many of you in non-league, even pre CoCo will remember him.

I know it is short notice, but a Funeral Mass is being held at St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church, Dorking, tomorrow at 11:00 am.

I have spoken at length with his son Ray on the phone who agreed I could post this information.

Always enjoyed my visits to Meadowbank when Jack was in attendance.  A real character and always was friendly no matter what.

RIP Jack.
