Is this a record - 16-15 on pens

Ive re-titled this as I got no help before does anyone have any idea<p>Sunday 6th January 2002

Hertfordshire Junior Cup - 5th Round (last 32)

Northaw Reserves v Bradmore Rovers<p>The Haws Reserves went through to the quarter final of the Junior Cup thanks to a penalty save from Keeper Joe Lyons when the score was at 16-15 on penalties after the game had ended 4-4 after extra time.

 

Bradmore Rovers had taken a 1-0 lead after 22 minutes but The Haws hit back from the restart Former Colchester Youth team player Craig Barton scoring to level it at 2-2 on 23 minutes<p>The visitors then went into a 2-1 lead on 25 minutes and the score stayed that way untill half time.

 

The second half saw the visitors go into a 3-1 lead on 57 minutes and it looked like the Haws reserves cup run was over but a free kick just outside the box on 65 minutes saw Ryan Kersey blast the ball through the wall and into the net to make it 2-3.<p>On 70 minutes the ball was bouncing around in the box and Paul O'Sullivan played a neat back flick that went into the net to make it 3-3

 

Into extra time the first period saw Bradmore Rovers have a couple of chance to score but two shots went wide, in the second period with 3 minutes to go Reserves Manager Rob Shears came up for a corner and blasted the header into the net to make it 4-3 and put The Haws into the lead for the first time. but Bradmore hit back in the final minute of the game to make it 4-4 at take the game into penalties.

 

The Haws missed their first kick the visiting keeper saving while Bradmore scored, both sides scored their second kicks to make it 1-2 to Bradmore

 

The Haws scored thrir 3rd and 4th while Bradmore failed to score the next two Joe Lyons saving the 3rd and the 4th hitting the bar to make it 3-2 to Northaw after 4 pens each.

 

The Haws then missed their 5th while Bradmore scored to take it into sudden death at 3-3 after 5 pens.

 

6th, 7th, 8th, 9th were scored by both sides

 

both sides missed their 10th kicks the Bradmore keeper saving while their kicker having the chance to take his side through hit the post.<p>The 11th kicks saw both keepers score to make it 8-8 the 12th was also socred by both sides.

 

13th save northaw hit the post while Joe Lyons saved his second pen to make it 9-9

 

14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th were all scored to make it 15-15

 

Northaw scored their 20th to make it 16-15 and then Joe Lyons made his third save from the spot to make it 16-15 after 20 penalties each<p>Northaw play their football in the Mercury waltham Sunday League which covers the Enfield, Waltham Cross, Hoddesdon, Hertford and Ware area of Middlesex and Hertfordshire<p>The are based at Old Owens Sorts Ground that is just outside Ptters Bar, Located at J24 on the M25.<p>[ 05 February 2002: This message was edited by: Freebird ]</p>
