Don't hold your breath!
Pitch inspection at 1:00 and the local ref couldn't make up his mind. We had to wait for the real ref to turn up and postpone it immediately at 4:15 with the Gravesend team coach about to leave.
It didn't rain in that time AFAIK so how could it have been even remotely playable at 1:00?
This one could run and run images/icons/frown.gif" border="0

If they're anything like last season, Histon are an absolute disgrace - they had no concept of what a pitch looked like. We got dragged up there 4 times (I think) in last years Trophy, on one occasion people were sinking up to their ankles in their ploughed field of a pitch and they still had the bl**dy cheek to accuse us of leaning on the ref to get the match called off! When we finally got round to playing them and beat them 2-0 it was one of the more satisfying victories of last season. If I still sound pi$$ed off it's because I travelled up there on Valentines day last season (with a telephone confirmation at 1830 the game was definately on) to look at a pitch that wasn't fit to keep cattle on.
