I said it was Blue Circle.........you say it isn't.......so who owns it now? Or are we going back to the old days of secret squirrel at Northfleet? I can't see why this question is causing a problem.

I believe its Land Securities.

 

Gravesham has changed a lot in recent times, and there are one or two locations on which a new ground could be built (and which I am sure are already being looked at by the club, given the comment in the programme on Saturday that the next Board Meeting would include an item on "Ground Developments")

I'm aware that at least one local councillor has actively been researching possible sites should relocation be required and/or desired. This is not an indication of any pending move, just research. In fact, I think it's been mentioned in the Reporter and a matchday programme so there's no secrecy. Possibilities include the new Ebbsfleet Station area and the old power station (I think) opposite Kimberley Clarke.

 

And indeed it is Land Securities, Alan.....soon to be Gladwish!!!!!!!!!!!!! Along with the rest the south-east!!!

Thank you Allen for clearing that up. Being over here, the news doesn't travel. Thats why i joined the forum. I just get mad at smug people who delight in other clubs troubles. Northfleet have been in financial trouble in the past, and i hope never go there again. The present board seem to have their heads screwed on the right way in not throwing money away.

I seem to remember there being talk of a Roundabout being built at the Plough for the Ebbsfleet Station, has that threat gone away?

Nope that's been built and makes for much easier access to the ground.
