Couldn't agree more! I found out about the site when the admin guy left a post on the Barrow website.

It wasn't well recieved though, some of the fans said that the barrow site is good enough for them.

This is a fair point, the Barrow site is very well run but it doesn't get the wide range of oppinion that this site would get.

As far as I can see, this is an opportunity to find out about other clubs in the deepest,darkest places in the country such as Canvey Island (No offence! <img src="graemlins/images/icons/wink.gif" border="0" alt="" /> )

So come on you northereners, spread the word! I can here the southern drawl; through my monitor at the moment and it's giving me a headache!

As a 'softy' southerner I think it would be good to have more comment from you lot up 't north. We are keen to hear about your whippet racing, pigeon fancying and all them brass bands from 't collery.<p>There is a rumour down here that you have a couple of football teams up there as well. Be nice to hear about some of the lads who slip their clogs off after a 25hr shift at 't mill and kick a ball about before going home for a tripe supper and a nice hot bath in front of the fire.<p>Must go now. t' pit, t' mill, t' bollox etc<p>Also, whoever told you that Northerners go t'pit or t'mill has obviously never been up north. You see, we don't have jobs! The industrial revolution came and then buggered off to Hemel Hempstead! <img src="graemlins/shrug.gif" border="0" alt="[shrug]" />

Some witty replys but on a serious note I don't think we need bring the north/south issue into this, I live in the south but am often up north visiting friends/relatives and I try and see a Unibond game or 2 whilst there and I've seen some very good ones and been made very welcome at grounds I've been to, shame crowds aren't a bit bigger, don't blame Man Utd all their 'fans' are down here. Spoke to some Droylsden fans a while back who are sick of Dave Pace, don't know much about him myself but slagging of your own fans is hardly going to help anyone!
