Whoops. I've just read my own postings and, afraid to say, don't I sound like John Crawshaw? Been going on a bit, haven't I? Taken being sad to new heights? Sorry guys.
I've made my point, thrown down the gauntlet. Enough said, lets lay the subject to rest.
Any more comments please email them directly to drzbungle@canveyfc.com and let him deal with it.
Merv
Phew, worried there that I was growing a JC soundalike complex.

Merv,
I think you've read the usual 'Ricay / Canvey rivalry in my message. Sorry but not right.
Having been to a couple of Conference grounds in my travels and Gravesend, in my opinion, Canvey's does not make it. My opinion. I believe it is allowed on this site (and ecourages banter - nowt wrong with that).
Now I'll accept the apology (and please accept mine) but don't get all arsy with those "quotes" from me and other people (I still haven't worked how do do that yet) 'cos in some cases you take it out of context and THAT winds me up (just like having a 'Ricay supporter winding you up when he has an opinion about your ground when his team in in 8th or 7th place and playing toilet)!!!
Personally, I don't think any of these ground grading boards have a thumb of rule. They say they have but I wonder if they don't over look certain "areas" when the ground they are grading has a team that is a) successful, B) cash rich or c) in vouge. Football is "bent" in my opinion (a cynical opinion, I know) and you only have to look at the behaviour of Premier League clubs, players and management today.
Football has long deserted the supporter and money is king.
