Full Time Teams

Recommended Posts

I see, according to that esteemed publication, the NLP, there are due to be 18 Full Time Teams next season in the Conference.

On the basis that the 3 promoted teams (if there are 3) will be part time, does that mean we would be the only other part timers?? Somehow I think the NLP have done their usual thing and not let facts get in the way of a good story !!

It's likely that both Canvey and Weymouth if they come up will go full-time.

Well, Jeff King will have to keep on digging deep into his pockets to keep his side full-time, given that they usually only get 600/700 attendances at home, compared to the 1500 enjoyed by Crawley and Weymouth in the Southern Premier.

Seeing as the part-time teams normally fill the majority of the lower positions in the league table, we may need to become full-time sooner rather than later.

Surely there will be a surplus of Conf standard players who don't want to go full time because they wish to continue with their other careers.
