Bliar and the NHS

Recommended Posts

Due to have retired last July I am approaching the inevitable day soon and seek advice

There is a remote possibilty Bliar will win another term and the NHS and NHS Dental will fade away completely

Eventually I will need replacement parts or smile adjustment and wonder if India, South Africa France or Germany are the best bets for an acceptable level of treatment in an acceptable period of time

We are of course being overtaken by third world countries (in people care) on a regular basis and its about time the Government gave out a best in practise travel brochure for those in need of health care

Too true, Pa! Shame you aint a member of the royalty. How old was the Queen Mother when she had her hip done? Maj didn't have to wait long for her knee op, did she?

My dad will have to wait at least a year or so for his knee op, and only ever had about two weeks off sick all his working life.

It's nine years since my condition was diagnosed!!

Apparently, if they cancel my op [it will be the third time if they do] I can go to France and have it done. [Cheap fags and wine anyone?]

Trouble is, I have to make and pay my own way there....not too much bother on the way out I 'spose....but then have to do the same on the return journey. I wondered how much is it to hire an ambulance [as I'll be flat on my back], and get the Eurostar.

I am awaiting to see if they charge me for borrowing a wheelchair. Any ideas if they charge..... anyone? It just wouldn't surprise me if they did. And the wheelchair will probably have "sponsered by McDonalds" on it!<img src="/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

I'll never vote Tory because they began dismantling the NHS, and I'll certainly never vote for this bunch of swines that are in power at the mo'.

[Where's BigJR's nurse!!!!]

[color:"red"] NHS. ? Don't make me laugh !!!

[color:"blue"]

'Er indoors has been attempting to get a final diagnosis for MS for the past three years.

She has been shunted round in a circle between three hospitals over entire Surrey and South London.

She has undergone numerous tests including M.R.I. scans, lumbar punctures, (they're no joke), pshyco tests - The full works.

18 months ago we returned to the second hospital in the trilogy, hopefully for a full diagnosis and prognosis.

What happened ?

You've guessed it. All 'Er Indoors records and scan plates had somehow magically disappeared between the three hospitals.

Needless to say, Yours truly POLITELY exploded, inferring the NHS was a complete farce, and perhaps we ought to change our surname to Singh, or something similar. The panic button was pushed, I was told that I could be banned from all NHS hospitals for being verbally aggressive and disruptive. [color:"red"] Moi ???? [color:"blue"]

We are due back at The East Surrey Hospital at Redhill later this afternoon for a further consultation.

WATCH THIS SPACE.

NHS ?? I'm still larfin' NO HOPE SERVICE !! [color:"black"]
