Welcome to our forum and a special welcome to Park Lane whenever you are in our neck of the woods.

And don't be too worried about being Welsh; it happens to some people. Life can be like that sometimes.

Now don't get all defensive. To deny that you're Welsh is to deny all your celtic brethren, all your cymru culture and your rustic roots there in the valleys and in the hillsides. Be proud of your Land of Song, birthplace of Ivor Emanuell and Neddy Seagoon. Be brave, own up to your Welshness and accept the fact that you have experienced, first hand, a true 'welsh rarebit' [a virgin from Cardiff].

Be Proud. Be Welsh. It's better than being Scotch!

And neither in Daffyd, of Llandhui Breffi, as apparently he's "the only gay in the village".

Swanseacanvey - Look new member, if I were you I would just admit that you are Welsh! You see Merv has extraordinary powers on this Forum and who knows what he will do now, just pacify him, until the end of the season at least.. <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Prynhawn da swanseacanvey, shwd i chi? O le i chi'n dod, Benfleet? Pryd cyrhaeddoch chi a Cymru? (or should that be Gymru, Welsh grammar has always confused me.)

We must talk more, especdially in your native language. I think we should try to make you feel at home on our very English discussion board. Vic knows some Welsh, but most of it is unprintable.

Here on Canvey the fans are quietly optimistic about the season and it's nice to know that even in your corricle on the River Taff you are with us. Keep in touch with the Yellow Army through these pages, even though you are a long way away. "From where you are, you can hear their dreams..." [Dylan Thomas - Under Milk Wood]
