Ian,

I think the site is still visited (and much loved) by us fans, and always will be.

Even though we know there will not be a return (Anytime soon) we'll still look back and hope, and pray it will be back.

As for people clicking it, they've probably noticed that the best team in the league have one of the WORST non-league websites.

People are interested in what, and how Canvey are so successful, and how they do it. The Official website gives us no real idea about the club, and that is one of the main factors is it much disliked (By me anyway.)

Maybe one day, just one day, our brilliant Unofficial site will make its return, and be "One Of The Nationwide League's Leading Sites."

... Maybe I have high expectations <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Well I was one of the vistors to the website yesterday.
Must have been on there for over half an hour looking up Canvey's record from previous seasons.
There is still loads of information on the website and its always worth a visit. Unlike the official site where the only really good thing on that website is the extended league tables.
I hope the unofficial website returns I miss the match reports on there which were often on there within 2 hours of the game finishing and gave the report from the fans point of view.

I still have the Canveyfc in my favorites.
I use the site as a stepping stone via the link on the front page to get to the forum.

Also, when I'm in tranquil mode I also reminisce over some of Merv's classic match reports.

I still visit the site at least twice everyday. Once at home and once at College - The Multi-Media Centre at College is all open plan with 80 computers in it. Many a time have I seen the Yellow and Blue of www.canveyfc.com come up on peoples' browsers there, people I do not recognise as to going to matches. When I see it I always have a quick glance over and take joy in seeing that person enjoying reading the information that is up there.

There has never a similar location for the gentle and not so gentle pi** take
It has made travellers of several well known posters of the gentle but mildly cynical

I never thought I'd see St.Albans above Canvey in a table ever again!
