Well barring the biggest collapse in the history of football we are going to be playing in the Conference next season.
How does everyone think we will do?
I think 90% of the squad we have are more than capable of playing in the conference and I see no reason that we cannot hold our own next season.
Aldershot have done remarkably well and could even get into the Football League next season. Who's to say we couldnt do the same? We need a new ground before we could think about going into the Football League but there is no reason why Canvey can't be in the Football League in 2 or 3 years time.

if we go up then i will be more than happy just to scrape survival in the first season, then with the new ground look to build from there.. as for theplayers, sure as prothers as proved at the fleet the whole squad may have the talent but do they all have the time to play national footy.. half the conf is full time now...
also, as we know, the gulls can be more than a match for many a conf team on our day, maybe all of em.. but over a long hard season.. well thats a totally different matter..
one thing is for sure there will be no more relaxed 4 nil duffing ups of part time strollers on a tuesday night.. get used to one goal differences against players who know every trick in the book and a goodly number of away fans singing [****!!****] ground no fans a lot
