The McCluskey years came to their abject swansong with an 8-1 home reverse at the hands of Halesowen, and a 9-0 away hammering by the might of Trowbridge Town if I remember correctly.

Those were the days, none of this fancy 6-0 thrashing of full-time professionals nonsense.

We beat Godalming & Guildford 7-0 in 'that' FA Cup run.

Oops! The reason why I didn't spot that in the Jubilee Year Book is because its records only go up to 1994-95.

And I thought my memory of results from 1995-96 to the present day was sufficient!

Now I think of it, there might have been a 7-0 win in the Full Members' Cup a few seasons back, when Steve Restarick netted four or five goals... but don't quote me on that

I think it was 8 and Resters got 6, but I will research it and come back.

My Mistake it was 7-1 Resters 5 Jeffrey & Hegley, watched by a massive crowd of 68

Also found 6-1 Home to Hungerford in the Laegue cup in front of 121 fans,

It's late, but it does show that a site with all the old results on and as much other information as possible might be a good thing.

Perhaps next season when I have nothing better to do...... <img src="/images/graemlins/chat.gif" alt="" />
