There were still a few moaners on the terraces - that little group that stand just outside the covered area when we attack the Swanscombe end - if you read this, you know who you are.

 

Moaning at Roy for not getting to balls that were clearly nowhere near him for a start.

 

I just about had enough of it at one point and was even drawn into having a go back at them.

 

Mind you, I didnt hear too much of them at the other end after half time - they probably went home after we had got the 3rd or 4th goal - they probably couldnt stand to see us doing so well.

I wonder if the above moaners are so henpecked at home that they have to find some way of restoring their own estimation of their egos?. (Note I said their own estimation) probably nobody else's. I am convinced there are a very few who are quite happy to pay their £10.00 in the hope that we lose because in a strange way it makes them feel better about themselves. Totally agree with you all.The moaners really get on my nerves, if there is nothing to moan about they invent something.At last the lads got it all right at home.

 

A much deserved result and a great well done to them all, including those in the backroom.

 

As for the moaners, perhaps they should either accept that we played really well and yes we won 6-0.

 

Or not bother to turn up again, but as Vera has said this is probably the only place they get to voice any sort of opinion, even if it is usually rubbish.

Yes there were still a few moaners even when we were 6 up. Very sad people. Especially the one with the biggest mouth opposite the main stand. One of his remarks regarding one of our players was an absolute disgrace. Think the bloke should be banned. He's the same every match. Shame I've had to mention it after such a brillant performance. Four goals in six minutes including the stoppage for the penalty. I've never seen anything like it in all my years of watching football live, and probably never will again.

There are a few moaners behind the goal near where we stand and i presume one of them is called albert as mentioned above as he always moans and is actually a legend at it!! although i feel like having a go at him every week!!!!! They tend to moan at everything that goes slightly wrong and i think they want henry and ljunberg at the fleet not pinnock and roy...........

 

come on moaners we are a great side who will get better and better!!

what you have to remember is that opinions are like a%*eholes everybody has one. it would not matter if the fleet scored 6 every game, someone would find something to moan about it's human nature, whats important is that we recognise this, learn to ignore the rubbish and get the crowd in . lets get the fleet full time

I think the 250K that Andy referred to in his interview was the additional money that we needed, not the full cost.
