To be honest i was suprised how well morecombe played even though they had conceded so many goals. They could of quite easily been like Dagenham and Redbridge on Friday night, and gave up and end up conceding 9 goals!

 

And to call us [****!!****] thats just plain wrong! In near enough every match report in the non league paper it has quoted the oppositions manager sayin that he cant believe we are so low down in the league, by the way we play!

To be fair, the majority of their postings steer clear of putting G&N down and simply accept their own shortcomings.

 

We clearly have a good relationship with their fans - both last season and this, the atmosphere was great - and isnt it good to have a non segregated game for once. If only the police would accept that you'd get an atmosphere and banter like yesterdays in most cases, and only rarely is there any real chance of trouble.

s'funny, but some people just don't get it! When they get beaten they claim the oppo were [****!!****]...therefore acknowledging the fact that they must be even shitier.

was it Morecombe or Margate we played against Saturday whoever, they clearly brought the same book of excuses.
