Cant believe my luck.

This girl that i am seeing has been doing fox hunting since the age of ten and use to be a horse intuctor in tennessee.

She even said that shell take me for lessons and that if i'm ainterested enough and safe on a horse she would take me for a meeting.

Could you imagin me on a horse pissed surrounded by loads of hippies wearing white trousers and and a red coat.

I'd be so in my element

There's nothing wrong in fox hunting if you let the fox go free.

I know fox hunting has been around for years, and we have some fox hunting in the woods and fields in markyate (very rare though!). it is a very old sport, but you have to think how scared the little fox is. He doesn't know why they are chasing him, and he's probably really upset.

Can the fox hunters just pretend they are chasing a fox. I mean, what do you get out of it at the end of the hunt? Not very satisfying is it?

Once again scum bag lefties who are jelouse of the privelaged.

Its apart of this countries culture and the sad fact is they actually rarely do catch a fox.

Poor fox, F**k the fox what about all those who have dedicated their lives to the countryside earning crap money. Fox hunting employes 100,000's of people.

There are other, more humane ways of letting your dogs course.

Scent or Drag Chasing - as practised in the Lake District, for example - is very popular.

It involves someone dragging a lure over a designated SAFE course prior to the chase - about half to a full mile in length.

The lure comprises of a bundle of rags soaked in petrol/paraffin [or sometimes, rotten fish/meat].

The practise is not socially exclusive...the dogs do not have to be hounds [they only need to be chasers].

People place bets upon which dog will reach the finish line first.

No live bait is involved!

Fox hunting is clearly cruel but a lot of people enjoy it so why should they stop because a bunch of unwashed lefties don't like it.

Well the fox has to eat!!!! He isn't a vegetarian!!!!!! The hunters don't eat the fox do they!! There isn't a good enough reason for the hunters to catch the fox.

Can't a mechanical fox be made for the hunters to chase? I mean they still get to do a chase, yet no fox gets hurt in the process - everyone's a winner!!!!
