Yes indeed we have all heard of White Notley, It is a small village on the Braintree-Witham road with a great pub with real ale. It was named White Notley as opposed to its twin village Black Notley after staying clear of the Black death in the middle ages. Want to know any more about the place? cheers!

Mr Knob, I understand that several of our number stumbled upon the pub with real ale. One of them missed every train until the 19.06 - and we had a 13.30 kick off.<p>Some of us also enjoyed the ford - much more exciting than the bridge.<p>Give us more of this kind of thing, I say!<p>And give White Notley their floodlights, you miserable nimbys!!! <img src="graemlins/icon25.gif" border="0" alt="[icon25]" />
