Can't speak too highly about todays game at the lane what a wonderful atmosphere. So nice to see the likes of Hoddle and Southall playing on the park lane pitch.
There is a lot of negative publicity about pro footballers at the moment but today showed another side with so many past and present players turning out for no financial gain just to help out someone in need.
Every player there was more than happy to sign autographs and chat to fans.
I even had a chance to talk to Jade from big brother who was really nice and not at all like she is shown to be on TV(just a shame Kate Lawler wasnt there!!!!).
Gary Thompson showed so much dignity and he was right if it wasn't for todays game we would have all been stuck watching Milwall v Tranmere.
This has been a wonderful season for canvey so far with so many highs but today was the best of them all.

So what was the score, was it one of these fixed games 7.6 or a proper game?
