I have a home in madrid...and a lot of friends.....they all have one belief....this is not ETA......

 

thankfully this terrible tradgedy hasn't touched any of our friends but nonetheless has rendered this beautiful and cosmopolitan city senseless...

 

the madrid people are not of your usual spanish make up..

 

they are very conservative.....well educated in their history and deeply patriotic....

 

they are also ...to a man...anglophiles...
