G+NFC v CIFC

Recommended Posts

So who is coming down to stonebridge road next tuesday? There will be a lot of GNFC supporters there and a lot of CIFC supporters there, but what neutrals are coming? Well i say neutral but most people have an opinion on who they want to win the league. All i can say is C'MON YOU REDS and lets get a really good start and cane grays on saturday, we need to get them back for a 2-0 defeat at their gaff.

Obviously with Certain People (mentioning no names tongue.gif" border="0 ) around there will always be a chance.
However, never fear because there is already a pre-concieved plan for all Fleet fans to bring torches in case of an "emergency".

Chris reckons Shots will go up next season. Now where have we heard that before? Haven't Aldershot been going up next season for years and years?
Let's be honest, they'll do next year what they have always done in the past. Start strong but fade halfway through the season. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.
Sorry.
Merv CIFC

I think our manager might have something to say about that FleetMan he has publicly said in our local paper, he feels we could be contenders for promotion next season.

By the way if Canvey do get their ground passed and you still need the points on the last day, don't hold your breath we ain't goner roll over. Your going to have a real fight on your hands.

quote:
Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.

Well I think that applies more to Canvey. wink.gif" border="0
Bridesmaid usually relates to the 2nd place team...
And as for next season. Well I'll be putting up the concede 2002/3 thread up in mid November!
:jump

Opps
Quote was supposed to be a Merv style bold thing.

quote:
Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.

I'll get the hang of this sooner or later.

Whatever the outcome, undoubtedly the Ryman game of the season. I'll be spying on Whyteleafe in their home game against Wealdstone but I hope it is as good a game as it is billed. I am prepared to stick my neck out here to predict Fleet to do it tonight and to go on and get promotion.

I predicted Canvey at the start of the season....but I reckon Gravesend will get the right result, and will go on to win the league and gain promotion to the Conference.
May the best team win. Good luck smile.gif" border="0 Enfield Town FC are hoping to see you there one day!

Reading back on that post, it sounds as if I am talking like the game has not taken place yet! So, just to make it clear - I predict Gravesend to continue to get the right result and go on to win the league....etc
Again, best of luck from Enfield Town FC smile.gif" border="0

shocked.gif" border="0 What games that then - is it important?? grin.gif" border="0
nah best of luck to both teams - as has been said may the best team win - seems a contradiction in terms talking about a team from Kent like that - but you've surprised us all GNFC.
Nerves seem to be showing on both sides so I hope both sets of supporters actually enjoy the game cos I assume not even a draw will be welcomed!
