As a non-local planning to come to the game, please could somebody explain why it has been made all ticket - are we really expecting that big a crowd ? Semi-final v Chester 3 years ago was not all ticket and this game is hardly a local derby (no disrespect intended to fans travelling from Telford but I don't suppose they will be coming down in their thousands).

I have no idea, can`t see it being that big a crowd 2000 tops. On the Telford forum they think they will only bring about 200 fans with them.

Could it be due to past gate disputes amongst clubs whilst on cup duties??

Bit of a bugger this as I know a few people who fancied going to this game but would rather pay on the day.

Hopefully they'll be a few people attending their first match at Park Lane that day <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Surely making it all-ticket avoids the possibilty of fans travelling and not being able to get in. Probably a good idea. Also guarantees the club money in advance of the game.

Only true if you are expecting a full capacity crowd with no room left over at all. Not sure of the total capacity of Park Lane but at around 3,500 I would suggest that the possibility of it being a packed house is extremely remote.

Still, it means a good crowd in the bar on Tuesday night and that will all add to the profits.
