Surely there is some scope for multi-tasking here.....You could combine the two jobs and deliver the mail late to the wrong town.

how can they be laying postmen off, obviously not their fault directly but the post sucks at the moment. Seems to get worse week by week. Surely we want more postmen???

Mr. Holden, I know for a fact that your train has run every morning this week (so far). Can't vouch for the usual 'wait an eternity outside London Bridge' saga but it has departed DARTFORD on time each day too!
