Found this thread on the Palace message board from October/November 2003, when he was on loan at Basingstoke.

 

He has since had a trial at 3rd division Boston apparently.(Played in a friendly on Tuesday v Rushden, and scored)

Seems they have / had quite a high opinion of him, so could be useful to us, if he hasnt had his confidence shot to pieces.

 

It seems he is one of those out of contract in the summer :-

 

Palace manager, Dowie has decisions to make on nine other players who are out of contract in the summer in Aki Riihilahti, Kit Symons, Jamie Smith, Tony Popovic, Michael Hughes, Julian Gray, Gavin Heeroo and Ben Surey, while Ben Watson's YTS contract also expires.

 

Dowie has already said he wants Julian Gray, Michael Hughes and Ben Watson to stay at the club, but the others face an anxious wait.

 

He is due to meet chairman Simon Jordan in the next week to discuss the club's budget and will inform any player who is surplus to requirements as soon as possible to help them find new clubs.
