If once the League has been won, Jeff plays Wardy upfront for a whole game? It may be a little disrespectful to the opposition but who cares if Wardy gets a goal!! I reckon he could do well up there knocking balls down for Boylan

 

What does everyone else think about this masterful plan...?

 

I mean come on who would love to see wardy hit a cracker in past an on rushing keeper....it would be his finest hour.

Not sure Wardy would cope facing (for him) the wrong way all the time ! My suggestion would be to make him the penalty taker once we have sealed the title, and also to send him into the box for corners and free kicks.

Now that is a good idea....he always brings a smile to crowds face when does his little creep up from the halfway line.

 

Not sure about Pens. but I wouldn't mind seeing Danny Potter out field as well he can certainly hit a ball - but thats never gonna happen.

for sure.. but its only viable if a game is won not the league.. as there is a lot to play for this season for other clubs in terms of making the top 13 or the play offs.. and not playing to win every game is really not fair on the other clubs involved

Yeah I said it wouldn't be fair or respectful but who cares about them...Lets face it we could always change it around after he had scored and send out the usual team.

 

It the same as any Team selection. Certain games Jeff picks a weakened side against lesser opposition - whats the difference?

IF he's that bad up front then play him against us. Mind you we haven't kept a clean sheet for 27 games!

 

We did something similar in 94/95 Allan Cockram was manager and he started a game against Purfleet with the strikers at the back and the centre backs up front for the opening 20 mins just to confuse them, it worked, we won <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
