I'm no big horse racing fan but what an exciting race that was! Amberleigh House came right from the back to win it.

Oh, by the way, I had a fiver each way on the winner as well!

Good for you!!!I didn't have a bet this year
I didn't get a chance to see the race, i was working. I never used to work weekends because i love my sport so much, but as i'm at uni now, i have to. I've been missing all the major events recently- 6 nations, boat race, the national.
The sooner i'm qualified and in a 8.30-4.30 job in the week the better!!!

I tell you something, I don't think I've screamed quite so much at a telly before that final home straight on Saturday. I'm going to have to take my missus for a day at the races. It looks great fun!

I went to the races for the first time back in August at Ripon. It was a great day, recommend it to anyone. Mind you, its harsh on your pocket if you've got an addictive personality!!

Was gutted when Hedge Hunter fell near the end, led for most of the way and I was a shoe in for some wedge from the Bookies.

Still, glad to see he survived the fall and that there were no fatalities.
