Think this reaction says it all - from 2 Shrews fan's comments under this thread on Confguide

 

[color:"blue"] Sorry but this season Shrewsbury have highlighted how poor the Conference really is.

 

We have been poor for most, if not all the season, yet we are in a play-off place. I think we have been as bad as we were last year. No fight, no passion no team spirit.[/color]

SHREWSBURY have been rubbish for 80%+ of this season.

 

SHREWSBURY are still in a playoff position.

 

THE CONFERENCE must be worse than rubbish, at least a good proportion of it. [/color]

It seems they all but expect David Beckham , et al to be seen at Gay Meadow every week !
