I thought it was mildly amusing - when us lot went down for your cup match [Maidenhead]- that the loudest chant I heard was in the bar was aimed at us: "We 'ate 'ornchurch, We 'ate 'ornchurch".

I've got the common sense to realise that the majority of Canv fans were welcoming and liked the fact that we went down to watch them - and helped swell the attendance by another 40-50.

Although my daughter and her mate [both under 11] felt a tad intimidated by grown men chanting this at them! <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

 

Mind you...it was nothing like what a few of the Grays C.C. [Chav Crew] were giving to you lot in their bar, before Canv played 'em. That was utterly pathetic! <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />
