I think that alcohol is clouding your memory, Russ. From what I remember we kicked your sorry arses all the way back to Boreham Wood ;-) And we had more than just the one tune in our locker as well!
The difference next season is that it'll be all the way to Ware...

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought Enfield FC were NOT going to be relegated!!!!!

That was the general feeling up until last week, when the Ryman put out a statement saying that normal relegation will still apply this season.

Who knows whats going on with the shambolic Non League scene at present.

Hi Russ, when is a 0-0 draw a hammering. You got me there and no mistake. We were attacking the open end of the ground in the first half and any Town fan knows that's the duff end for vocals. Were you singing in the second half? Couldn't hear above Southport yelling in my ear.

Anybody listening to Talk Sport this afternoon would have heard of the Lewes play off in which they won their game and were due to take on Kingstonians, only to be told they had to play Bedford Town instead. Seems that the Ryman hardly know what is going on themselves. Anyway, I believe that the Ryman want Enfield and Enfield Town in the same league and have orchestrated an invite for us and a demotion for you after all. It'll make for an interesting couple of games next season if you decide to field your first team ;-)

Sorry if this deflates you but I am not sure outside Enfield anyone cares about the "rivalry". After all I believe that every club in the feeder leagues was invited to join Ryman 2 and it was the FA that decided relegation would apply.

Perhaps its Sepp Blatter himself who thinks that world football will be improved having the two Enfields play each other

Who cares what anyone outside Enfield thinks? Enfield v Barnet meant nothing to anyone outside the rivalry, but to those involved it meant everything.
