Tonights Game...

CIFC - Y.A

Recommended Posts

Do you think we'll be trying? Our last two results have been gradually building up... Would be nice to beat Kettering. Anyone know if there's any reason the two new defenders havent yet played at home? Hope for a win tonight, but personally if I had to chose, I'd rather win saturday <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Final score Canvey 1 1 Kettering.

Mcdougald scoring for Canvey and Fewings for Kettering.

Took us about an hour to get going tonight. Just shaded the first half with Parms and Boylan having our best chances but Kettering started the second half the better side and Fewings headed home from a corner.

That goal seemed to wake us up and we started to play some good football. Kettering goalie made several good saves and only bad luck and some desperate defending denied us.

Eventually Parms produced a bit of magic on the left in going past his man and delivering a sublime cross that Junior headed home at the far post.

Parms had a decent game tonight whilst J.K produced his usual battling performance. After a quiet first half Duffers looked pretty useful but we never really got going until Mints came on and he produced some lovely touches.

Good to see Greggors back from injury. Not too much to say about this game. Point was about right and let's hope we can end the season with a victory over Hornchurch on Saturday.

It's very similar to this season's one except less blue on the arms.

Yeah I saw it on the Echo website this afternoon.

I suppose when Gregors took the Armband, he was told he'd be modelling his waistband too...

Still, at least the number 9 is his!
