Hednesford lost 2-1 tonight to Welling so barring a miracle it looks like they won't be involved in the end of season play offs for Conference 2 and by remaining in the bottom 4 they will start next season in the Doc Martens Prem.

Therefore like us, after Saturday's game they will be out of action for nearly three weeks.

That's good to hear YA.

Still wondering what Hednesford team will turn up on day.

Just wondered why the final is three weeks after the last games in our leagues and if a conf team had got there, would of been 4 weeks.

The year we got through, the final was a around a week after our last game (after playing something like 9 games in 11 days).

Sure it used to be the Vase final, then the following weekend Trophy, then the FA Cup. This time round, we appear the day after the FA Cup.

Wondering why they could not put it in for the 9th or the 16th?

Wonder what Canvey are going to do for 3 weeks they will need to get some srt of match practice in.

Some options on friendlies are in the pipeline. One possible big side and the other one a travelling side(bit of a clue perhaps). From what i understand Scumend have offered us use of their ,AHEM, stadium for any 'home' friendlies, as the pitch at the lane will be being further improved, as from tuesday 4th May.
