Ah well that's a long story.

 

I have retired from running the website as at last week and I have passed the files over to the club to upload to the new host.

 

Although I can still update the files in their current location, if I do then the files won't match and when the new host comes online these changes will disappear.

 

Until the site is moved I will copy the press releases onto the G&N Forum, so if you see it under my name you can take it as official. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

big loss since we needed an additional quality midfielder-not lose one-midfield weakness was the 'missing link for last 2 seasons.

 

However with possible exception of shearer has anyone left Margate in last 4 years and 'bettered' themselves.

 

Must trust CK to find suitable early replacements and keep all informed-not the secret summer like last year!!

Shame to see jay go was by far my player of the season

Considering we signed him (from G&N) when we were in the Dr.Martens 1st - he has seamlessly been outstanding at whatever level we've played.

No disrespect to G&N but I'm surprised that he hasn't been head-hunted by one of the bigger clubs in the Conference.

Perhaps he could turn out to be the key to turn G&N into one of the major teams in the Conference.

 

His loss, combined with the decline of Keister means our midfield needs a real injection of class or we're going to suffer next season - whatever League we're in. [/color]

I presume that Jay lives and works locally, hence his desire to stay in Kent. We seem to have aquired a quality player, but we need good players to replace the likes of Walshe and Perkins.
